Our Global Instructor Listings and Rankings

With the birth and launch of Unleash Self Defence taking place only in the middle of 2024 and the set-up and infrastructure for its global expansion only being launched in May 2025, it is quite understandable that each new instructor will need to start their journey and training with Unleash Self Defence from the very beginning.

Therefore during these early stages, the levels and rankings of our instructors will naturally not be high.

This does not mean that the quality of our instructors is low. Many instructors already have years/decades of Self Defence/Martial Arts experience from ‘other’ systems But these are just that…. other systems.

Unleash Self Defence is a new system in its own right, with its own thought process, methodology, structure, syllabus and design. If we are to maintain this across all of our venues then each new instructor must go through our new syllabus from the very beginning in order to be able to teach it to their own students in the same manner. They must themselves first walk through this journey before showing it to others.

You will even find Black Belts from other systems who will now be starting from the very beginning with Unleash Self Defence. Even our own instructors within our own venues in the UK had to start from the very beginning. This is just how much different Unleash Self Defence is.

But to teach our system, one does not have to first achieve their Black Grade. As long as an official Instructor has officially achieved a certain level, they are able to teach that level and below to their students.

• LB 1 – achieved 50 students
• LB 2 – achieved 100 students
• LB 3 – achieved 250 students
• LB 4 – achieved 500 students
• LB 5 – achieved 750 students
• LB 6 – achieved 1000 students
• LB 7 – achieved 1500 students
• LB 8 – achieved 2000 students
• LB 9 – achieved 2500 students
• LB 10 – achieved 3000 students
